MLM Sponsoring and Recruiting

My huge problem is that one way or another i want to be rich and free and entrepreneurial and an investor, however I’m not attracted to the outcome of being rich and enjoy freedom like normal people are which is mostly money, i know i want freedom and wealth, however i can’t seem to motivate me enough to actually want it so bad that i’ll do anything in my power to make it happen.

From day to day I just get by, i do a little in my business, i work 40hours a week, and i attend some training from the MLM company I’m in, but i’m not attracted by the money while other people in my mlm company are like moving and moving creating customers daily while i’m not into the money/sales part at all..

I do know money management is important, however i seem to be more happy at my job than as an entrepreneur/investor while there is what i want to end up with, especially since i’ve been hating my job since day 1 because of the lack of freedom and the salary..

You guys have any tips how i can get motivated / inspired to sell and make money and create my freedom and independent future?

I’m a 20 year old business major who recently started looking for jobs on some career websites! I found there are lots of direct marketing jobs that offer things like paid training, and opportunities for advancement, but i need to know if they are legitimate businesses, I have checked out the website, but anyone can make a good website these days, no its not an MLM as far as I can see right now, and they are not asking for any money from me! but I want to know if it is truly a money making opportunity and a way to get a foot in the door of sales and marketing, so let me know your experiences!
so you know some of the companies I’ve interviewed with are new direction promotions, scanno advertising, o.c. marketing and tld and associates, let me know especially if you have worked with any of these they are located in cali, they all seem to do the same type of thing

like a lot of people i know im stuff to the brim with ideas, i need some guidance, a mentor, a partner, any info you have would be helpful.

I’m 24 I’ve had tons of jobs, from the military to working with animals, I’m trained in alot of things but I’m in expert in none. I started a printing business (with $0) a year ago but it’s very & small not enough to live on. I currently work 2 jobs to pay the bills aside from that business so im only off once a week. I get bored easily. I did well in college but left school to work because I had bills to pay and no direction.

heres what I know for sure :
I want to run a business, I like animals, clothing, music, traveling coming up with ideas, solving problems, inventing and most art.

any input would be helpful, if you are an entrepreneur with a success story thats fine too … please no links to mlm, 419 scams and real estate flipping.

I am working with a financial services company that mainly markets life insurance.

I need some ideas (no suggestions of companies or opportunities) of great places, social gatherings, etc., where I can meet people that I can approach about life insurance as potential cusomers for my training.

Generally in society you can tie your pay to the value you are providing. The more value you add, the higher compensation you generally get (negotiation abilities aside).

Someone who is merely a sales person earning commission earns pay for the amount of product they are effectively able to move, the more they sell, the more they get paid.

Someone who organizes a business, risks their own capital, and runs it successfully reaps the value of all these components in profits.

A cashier who works on a low hourly wage offers their time in exchange for a job that is easily replaceable, requires little training and virtually no education, hence the low pay since the value is relatively low.

In all cases the value is directly related to the compensation

Now what about MLM. What possible value is there that an MLM offers if they are selling minimum amounts of product themselves? It the view that merely signing up others is valuable? If so, how sad.
To fend of the expected answer comparing MLMers to sales managers earning commissions overrides from their organization, let me point out the obvious:

Sales managers focus their time managing their sales staff who SELL enough value to earn an income.

Signing up people and showing them how to sell things and sign others up is in NO WAY the same thing. Only in the mind of the very heavily biased MLMers trying to justify their value, which evidently doesn’t exist (perhaps explaining the lack of respect the industry receives).
