Network marketers are spending tons of money on personal development. Theyâre learning how to handle objections, how to deal with rejection, and how to have a big enough âwhyâ. Very few of them ever stop to consider that maybe they donât need all that personal development. Maybe they just need a different network marketing lead generation system.
You hear it all the time in network marketing. Go make a names list and start calling your friends and family. Our uplines tell us that this isnât selling, itâs just sharing. But when we stop and think about it, we realize that what they are calling sharing is really a very aggressive form of selling. Letâs put this in perspective.
Question: How much personal development do you think the guy behind the McDonaldâs counter has to do so he can take your order? Thatâs right⦠ZERO! Isnât he in sales? So why is it so much easier for him?
Itâs easier for him because YOU were hungry, YOU went to McDonaldâs, and YOU stepped up to the counter and waited for him to say âWelcome to McDonaldâs. May I take your Order Please?â
His system of lead generation is very different from your network marketing lead generation.
If the guy at McDonaldâs had to go out into parking lots to put flyers on cars, talk to his friends, and call people heâd never met to try to talk them into eating a hamburger, then he would probably have to do some serious personal development to.

A person who comes to you worth a ton more than anyone you approach. If you want to be successful in network marketing, and you donât want to aggressively sell people on your names list or approach total strangers, then you need a system that creates an endless supply of hungry, qualified, interested prospects.
Your #1 business need, is the need for hungry, qualified, interested people to talk to. If you want to be successful in network marketing, you need a lead generation system that gets people coming to YOU asking for more information. When you have that happening in your business then you donât have to be ten foot tall and bullet proof because youâre not aggressively selling to anyone. You donât need tons of personal development, because you only work with people who are interested.
