MLM Prospecting Attraction Marketing?s Missing Component

Okay so you already know Attraction Marketing is the best way  to see the highest return on your MLM prospecting efforts. But the question remains, how do you go about it? And more specifically how can a “regular guy” go from struggling MLM’er to seeing internet marketing success?

Attraction Marketing as it applies to MLM prospecting entails positioning yourself so prospects come to you effectively attracting them instead of hunting them down. You do this by establishing yourself as a credible source of information. You become a trusted advisor offering a service to your target market.

In concept it is simple enough but how do you actually go about accomplishing this goal? Well…you will be told the “quick and easy” way is to set up a marketing pipeline (sales funnel) consisting of a lead capture page that offers some kind of incentive. Usually this comes in the form of a free report or training seminar of some type.

This lead capture page is designed to require the prospect to enter their contact information in exchange for the incentive you are providing. Once you have the lead you follow up via e-mail, direct mail or phone to attempt to “convert this prospect” into a down-line.

Therefore your next step is to set up a one page website that “pitches your opportunity” and directs them to your pre-packaged MLM opportunity website. Sounds genius right?

But how do you get visitors to your lead capture page in the first place? Most advise using Pay Per Click campaigns. Unfortunately after all of this work and the frustration of learning all of this stuff…you are basically back to square one. You need to spend more money.

What the “Guru’s” are often failing to let you know is that PPC campaigns are expensive…real expensive. Costs per click can run anywhere from fifty cents to fifteen dollars for highly competitive keywords.

Not only that but once you get a click that doesn’t mean you will get a lead. In fact there are spam bot programs out there clicking away on these ads just to cost you money. Many will click your ad just to decide not to enter their contact information after all.

And once you finally do have a lead great…just send them your opportunity pitch right? Definitely not! Driving hundreds and even thousands of visitors to a pitch page will never get you out of the red. You simply won’t see a return on your investment this way.

All this work and not one distributor. So much for attraction marketing. Well…not exactly.

Not only that but you will have prequalified targeted individuals looking to work with you! In fact…this method creates free leads, free prospects and will generate money for you. I know…I know…sounds like just another gimmick.

What I am talking about is good old fashioned online business. To build a successful MLM business online you must commit to building your business the right way.

Get out of the advertiser mindset and into the business owner one. When you are looking for anything online what do you use? Search Engines are in the business of delivering quality content to their users.

Do you want to spend money to be an ad in the corner of a search result or do you want to be in the search results for free? As a search engine user yourself do you use them to get ads or do you use them to find relevant websites that deliver answers, entertainment, solutions etc…

Yes…this will take time and effort but it will take less time, money & effort than continuing down the quick and easy path to failure.

Once you actually have a business of your own you will finally be in a position to actually capitalize on all those nifty insider marketing secrets everyone is so willingly feeding us.

Using Videos to Effectively Communicate With Your Network Marketing Prospects

Most internet marketers would agree that using videos to communicate with potential customers, business partners, and prospects is a very good idea. However, you may be wondering how to produce a video that will allow you to effectively communicate with these groups. Here are a few critical things to remember when making your video marketing presentations:

* Keep it Short and Sweet: Do not make videos that are longer than 5 minutes long. The goal of the video is to attract prospects, but most people will not sit and watch a long video presentation, so make sure you stay on the topic and get to the point.

* Content is Key: Video allows your personality to come through to your viewers, so make sure you practice your delivery to become as polished as possible. However, the focus of the video should be on covering a topic that will be seen as important and valuable to the viewer. Ideally, every piece of information will lead to the need to gather additional information. The purpose of the video should be to get the viewer to enter your marketing funnel. For example, if you are creating a video about funded proposal marketing, you may develop some content about the overall concept of a funded proposal marketing funnel. However, a viewer will still need to get information about other elements like capture pages and front-end products in order to create a system of their own. These additional questions are key. Make an offer to answer them after they take action to enter your marketing funnel.

* Solve the Viewer’s Problem; Give them More Information: Since you now know that it is too your benefit to develop video content that requires your prospect to get additional info, you must make sure that you offer them a way to get the answers that they need for their success. One way to do this is by allowing them to return to your website or opt-in to your mailing list via a capture page. Giving your prospects valuable information will drive traffic to your websites and capture pages, and eventually build your downline.

Use the information above as a model to follow for creating winning marketing videos. Test different techniques and get used to being in front of the camera. The more videos that you post, the more traffic you drive to your marketing funnels, and the more polished you become in your delivery. Working From Home? Avoid These Time Wasters.

When you work at home the whole day can fly by and you realize that you got nothing accomplished. You rush at the last minute to get something done so that the whole day isn’t wasted. There is that nagging kind of guilt that can bother you all evening because you did not accomplish much. You tell yourself that tomorrow you will get it all done.

If your list is to long you will never get everything done, but you can avoid letting the day slip by without accomplishing much. There are three simple things you can do to avoid a completely wasted day.

Don’t begin your day without some preplanning. Start the evening before and think about what you want to accomplish the next day. Pick one thing that you absolutely must get accomplished the next day and write it down. It sounds simple but it takes practice. You must prioritize. The next morning start with the most important task. Sit down and do it first, before you do anything else. That means don’t go on line and check your email, or the news, or pick up the phone to confirm an appointment.

Stop multitasking. You may have heard that people get more accomplished by multitasking but studies have shown that the opposite happens. In fact most people become distracted and lose their train of thought. Some people never get back to the task at hand. When you work from home it is easy to be tempted to do things that need to be done around the house. Don’t stop writing that letter or putting together that ad campaign to throw in a load of laundry. Finish the task you are working on before doing or starting anything else and you will find that you get more done.

Avoid what many say is the biggest distraction today in both home and commercial offices, email and social media. Most of us have done it, especially before a task we find difficult or uncomfortable. Before we call that prospect or client we check our email or see if there is anything new on Facebook or Twitter. In my case I have more then one-email account to check. Checking the email or social media wastes just enough time so that it is too late to do an uncomfortable task. Task first email second.

If you follow these three simple rules everyday you will get more done and you won’t have the feeling that you wasted the day. When you have a feeling of accomplishment you will enjoy your down time.
